Just took delivery of 2 Diawa Super Kenzaki braid specials from Alderney Angling. A 6-12lb and a 12-20lb.Absolute top quality build and finish. As soon as the weather settles we'll get the boat out and I'll then post a proper review.

There ment to be cracking rods Steve 8) It wont be long until you have bass and tope putting a good bend into them 8)

I ordered a pair of SK3 8-12lb rods (at the top end of my budget) last night for my kayak fishing, they should cover most eventualities including Tope... Don't want something too stiff on the kayak for obvious reasons

Belting rods i have them all from 6lb through to 50lb i bought a tournament global as well last year the idea being to use it uptiding too & only just got to try it off Whitby last weekend thats a nice rod too very powerful.I think my favourite of the lot is the 6lb kenzaki though to look at them you wouldn't think they were up to much but they are deceptively powerful

I use a Kenzaki 12-20 on the boat, there a fine rod. There defo more on the 12lb side of the weight rating with a through action. I tend to use a Sonik sk4 12-20 which is a faster actioned rod Which I feel has more grunt and doesn't fold as easily. I would love to try a century excalibur 12-20, might have to save up a bit for one of those bad boys.. :D

Was out on a charter on Sunday. They use Kenzaki 20-30lb for everything, tope included. They get hammered most days but with a quick wipe down they look like new rods.

Hi Steve, I've not been around for a while. I have the super Kenzakis 6 through to 30 they are superb rods to use and they are very well built. not a bit of rust or damage after six years of use. they do get a wash down after each trip though. Enjoy!!
U catch it I'll tell U how 2 cook it!
