I bought a job lot of these a while back. I still have them on all of my rods. The only problem I've experienced is that the alloy can become detached from the plastic if you screw the thing down onto your reel too tight and it's a b*gger to free-up. Other than that they are really good.

I'm unsure whether to answer that question as its gone 9 on a friday evening but against my better judgment Im going to.

They fit most rods aslong as you select the correct internal bore. I don't like them for multiplier use as I find they increase the profile of the rod far to much.
