would you say they were live blacks or "dark " blow lug? i have kept blacks and blow alive in water and they can fish better than standard gutted or blow kept in paper/sand but they take a lot of looking after.

They look like small yellowtails to me at £4 for 10 i won`t be trying them any time soon

I used to buy them over 20 years ago, from tackleshop in Withinsea.had noproblem catching cod with them. mind you, i think they only cost 15£ for bag of 100! wish i could get them now at that price

If you pump them fresh but don't keep them in water are they called non-swimmers
