Pumping Ainsdale

Postby Liam.Webb. » Sat Oct 01, 2016 9:06 pm

Hiya, bought myself a pump and would like to give it a go in the next couple of days, are the low tides low enough to pump Ainsdale either tomorrow or Monday? Cheers.

If it`s your first time pumping, you`ll only frustrate yourself if you get down too early. I usually get down handy for a potter about..sometimes you can pick quite a few up early on,but other times they just don`t come out. Your best chance of success is the 30 mins either side of low water, when the worms rise in the sand and are easiest to pump....you`ll be surprised just how many worms you can get in an hour.

A dozen more than you had before you went...well done

As Steve says, just keep at it and over time you'll find the bucket filling up more and more each time you go
