They`re not that bad that you`ll struggle to get worms,but a better bung will make a difference. I changed over a few years ago,after finding out what a couple of pro "diggers" i know,were using....if they need their pumps to work at optimum level,then they should know what they`re talking about ;)

Seamless tube would make a big difference too.
Better seal/suction/less friction.

No mate ur not, I use the standard washers in fact I only use 3 or 4, its just down to personal preference, I cant get on with dog ball bungs. By all means give em a try, they work for a lot of anglers.

Hi folks, just made one of these bungs, do they need the same "Lubeing" ie: soapy water? Thanks, Andy...

Yeah....watered down fairy liquid is what i use.

Thanks for such a quick reply Kev, Yeh, I use about 50/50... Just been outside playing with the new toy in a bucket of water :roll: Looks good, but I would imagine it's harder work when out on the beach.
