Hall Rd 7/9/19

Postby Seasicksteve » Sat Sep 07, 2019 7:49 pm

Decided on a sesh at the coastguard end today. Got there at 12.30 (low water) and got enough blow for the day, https://imgur.com/gallery/czwfHFo
With it only being a 24ft tide I started wading out to get my 2 hook flapper with a 4oz pyramid lead into some depth of water, it wasnt long until I got my first fish https://imgur.com/gallery/jIyWmzN
Didn't have to wait long until my rod tip registered a decent nod with a better bar o silver :D https://imgur.com/gallery/xwQqh0P just over 2lb, stayed til high (6.30) and left the beach with my tea! :0:,

nice one Steve you are doing well on that side with the silvers? nice tub of blow lug as well

a lot of anglers dismiss them of being just a skin full of water and would rather use frozen blacks I think they have a much better catch rate especially for the getting the better size fish.

look forward to the you getting the bigger one
I fish for the enjoyment I get out of it and the sport the fish provide ?
