Well fished Paul , I think your experience and casting technique is getting you amongst the fish, I went from 25lb mono straight threw to 18lb asso bullet with a 50lb shockleader to try and improve my casting distance, only used the shockleader twice then I had to tie a new 1, everytime I pulled the knot tight my mono was snapping? So been using 30lb berkerly whiplash straight threw instead so back to square 1, well done on the tope by the way  , only something I cud dream of as I donk like rock marks or out to sea :D
Fished Hall road today, blanked, that South westerlie was putting a decent chop/surf on the water but bit detection was impossible, speaking to a few regulars there only a few flounder out no bass
Getting out fishing is good for the soul, catching is a bonus
