Opposite the big red girrafes

Postby Seasicksteve » Tue Aug 27, 2019 6:09 pm

Got on at 11.40 am with low being 3.50pm. Straight out with the crab baits, nothing in the first hour so wasn't very hopeful as I've had the hounds within that time.some of my baits came back stripped so think the crabs were out in force. I persevered til 3.30, nothing seemed to want my crab!. I switched over to a full squid lug wrap in the hope I'd snare a Ray to save a blank, not the usual pull down arched over bite but a tap tap , Blank saver https://imgur.com/gallery/3b3gJ9T
Unsure if it was a small huss or a well fed doggy?. Fished til 5pm, a few other anglers out but seen nothing else come out

Thanks seasicksteve :)

My young lad Daniel came down and had a chat with you about 4.30 he said it wasn't fishing well. And thanks for taking the time to talk to him . He came back and gave me the full report. Shame nothing else came in conditions looked good.

Thanks Steve, it was the girth that made me wonder, Mark your lad was very knowledgeable so you have taught him well, he sounded keen on getting out this week so hope he has success
