anglesey sat

Postby wrasseman » Mon Jul 15, 2019 7:42 pm

Had a trip to the island sat started at moelfre had 15 macs not loads coming in but enough for tea and bait, then went to lligwy to dig some fresh lug, easy digging for some good yellow tails, then stopped off telboys tackle in amlwch got some lovely fresh rag and dirty squid. Headed to the cabin in Church Bay for tea then moved onto to valley cob to try for some smoothies, only had a few frozen softies, plus the squid fresh macs and worms, no bites on the smoothie rods but had a schoolie on the light tackle. after a couple of hrs moved to the fishdock at holyhead to drop the pots over for some lobsters, put the rods out too but just had doggies and a small pollack caught three undersize lobsters in the pots returned to grow a bit. A good day in the sunshine, nothing stunning caught but at least had the line tugged and fresh macs for tea.
