I seem to be going through the shark species list this month
but one fish was clearly missing from the list a Bull Huss
And the spurdog is still a work in progress, but that's a bit like finding a gold bar,

but there is still plenty of time left in the year for that one.

There clearly is no point in fishing for bull huss around the mersey,
so it was back down to north wales, and back out on the rocks.

It was big baits from the off again today with whole mackerel baits
and penells and 8/0 and 6/0 circle hooks.

The fishing was slow and somewhat snaggy and it was far to sunny
but after a long spell without any fish apart from a few dogfish
i had the first bull huss of the day for, 9lb and 1oz.

Low water was approaching and time was also running out
and just when i was about to give up and head home
i took the best fish of the day for 9lb and 9oz.

No double figer fish were out there today, but they were still both good sized fish
so i was still very happy with how the day went and another good result.
