Guinea Gap Flatty bashing 6.5.19

Postby stephen atkinson » Mon May 06, 2019 3:08 pm

Decided on collecting bait on the early morning low tides this weekend, just to see what was about, Image
Glad i did.
And an abundance of worm to go with them.
Got set up at the slipway for 9amImage
The tide was still 50 yards out, first chuck, 5 yards past the sand, what i was looking for a nice plump plaice, rattled the rod tip,Image
And the flattys just kept comingImage

The only whitings to make an appearance.

Finished off last chuck double header.Image
Really enjoyed it, pissing down most of the morning, but the rod tip was rattling, so i wasnt oops.
Ended up 2 plaice 5 flounder 4 dabs and a pair of whitings.

Weather forcast for Sunday is pretty good and just a gentle westerly breeze ,now I've said that it'll probably turn into a raging gale and horizontal bloody snow .....lol
