harrison drive last night

Postby wrasseman » Wed May 01, 2019 6:07 pm

stopped off at harrison drive by the model boating pond, fished 6.30 to 9pm fishing the tide up the beach no bites but had my first schoolie (37cm) of the season on fresh lug off the wall, had a few bites but using big hooks so probably the reason for no other hook ups. a guy nearby was catching plenty of small plaice and flounder with a couple of schoolies on fresh crab fishing the tide up the beach, he also had a few plaice to keep for the pot.

Nice. Those schoolies hit hard and fast so smaller hooks help the catch rate.
