Rock Chanel Monday morning.

Postby NIGEL C » Mon Apr 22, 2019 5:05 pm

Hi all, fished couple of hours of the flood on this mornings big tide.
Only a couple of other anglers down, place virtually to myself on a lovely morning.
First cast a good flounder around 40 cm, then with the flood two good plaice well in the 2lbs bracket, taken for tea.
Finally with my last crab a whopping dab. All the fish in this short session were clean -fat and a good size.

Surprised how much broken ground there is now at the very low water line, and how few anglers were down.
Anglers were setting up for the high water off the prom behind, sure they would also get into a fish or two.
