Harrison Drive

Postby NIGEL C » Mon Apr 08, 2019 10:23 am

Hi All,
Fished the prom near the "Clown" in a charity match yesterday, there are a few nice plaice showing several caught in the 38-42 cm bracket along with odd flounders, and the usual small flatties.

Fish were coming to crab /lug /rag and feeding up after spawning, although not lots of fish its a great easy to fish venue and a pleasant way to while away a few hours over the high water. No doubt they are in the channel also over low and the flood.

Tight Lines
Nigel.

Fished the same match as Nigel , a few pegs down from him , good to see the plaice there, I had 3 ,23,31,33 for 87cm and a respectable 5th out of 23 .Two came to black tipped with Razor and one to black tipped with white rag. Nothing on fresh peeler or ragworm . Paul Bonners 42 cm fish was a lump and nice to see. Over £700 raised for the charity which was excellent.
Busy day on the prom with all the motorcycles doing the egg run.
Enjoyed the day out
