Seeing as the weather was perfect for the west side of Anglesey on Sunday, Graham and I decided on a Ray hunt at Cable Bay. On arrival the conditions were what we thought would be perfect for the Rays, Flat Calm. We got set up and after an hour or so nothing was doing but as the Tide started to reach low water I got my first pull down on the tip and shortly after the first Thornie was on the Rocks then shortly after Graham was in aswell, it was fairly constant after that with 11 Thornies between us, Most were only Small but we had a couple of 5lb plus ones and I managed one at 7lb 4oz. It was a cracking days fishing with some good weather thrown in aswell, what more could we ask for? Here's a few pics from the Day. https://flic.kr/p/2fjhT5G https://flic.kr/p/24MoNzK https://flic.kr/p/2foXeAF https://flic.kr/p/RCxAwT https://flic.kr/p/2e14jMR https://flic.kr/p/TfH3qA
