Postby Trishy » Sat Jan 26, 2019 11:08 am

Just got back from the morning low water at Seaforth beach , fished 7.30 till 10.20 had various baits including some fresh peeler crab 2 pulley rigs and a 3 up on the go between 2 rods ended up with 8 dabs , 4 codling and a whiting , nothing big but not a bad little session . No mud on the beach and quite firm under foot

Nice session. Fished there a couple of weeks back and couldn't catch a cold. Loads of bites but few hookups.

I had size 2 hooks up to 3/0’s on , belting it out in to the tidal run . I haven’t struck at a bite since I was a nipper. Kept my bait compact and tidy too which always helps

Don’t think I’ve ever fished there when I haven’t come back covered in stinking mud!
Looking at the weather now , think I made the right call fishing the morning tide!

Went last night , got wet and blanked. I think the morning was a very good call.

That’s fishing unfortunately ! I might give it another go next Sunday late afternoon/ early evening depending on weather and if I can sort some decent worm

It’s only a 5 minute drive and 20 min walk from mine , should fish it more really
