plaice

hi,where is the best place to go for plaice and dabs not far from wirral,,,thanks lee

Harrison Drive or Mostyn is my preferred choice mate always seem to do well for them at them locations, Morecambe is superb but further away.
Species - Thornback Ray, Huss, Wrasse, Dogfish, Whiting, Mackerel, Flounder, Silver Eel, Dab, Pollock, Sea Scorpion, Common Blenny, Coalie , Rockling, Pouting, Conger Eel, Smoothound

Dabs at mostyn are almost a certainty, plenty of plaice also if they're about. Usually fished over the low with my best catches a couple of hours up on a slow flood. More comfortable fishing in daylight for sure
