SeaForth. 09/12/18

Postby starfish » Mon Dec 10, 2018 8:50 pm

What a belter of a day to be out fishing with strong winds and torrential rain a plentiful
but i noticed a gap in the weather over low water and with conditions calming down at long last
i headed off too seaforth in search of mr codling. :D

It was not long till i was rewarded with the target species off the day
small but a codling it was all the same.

After finding out dave rob was over on the wirral side
we had a laugh with a few signaling flashes from are head torches up and down the river
Then my rod gave a good knock and it was codling on for 1.9.8. :D

The rest of the night down too low water was a double shot off scabby dabs every cast
followed by a few good numbers off good sized whiting.

As low water turned so did the wind and it turned big time with the rain also starting
so i bailed as fast as i could just making it back too the car in the nick of time. :D

Good effort Paul...sadly my freezer is empty at the moment,so "spare of the moment" sessions are out of the question.
Christ Simon, you would`nt have to keep it...

Good session. Fished it yesterday over high and lost a decent cod, but to me this is definately a low water mark.
