With all the southerly wind of late Graham and I decided on a Conger and Huss hunt on Saturday night over at Wylfa. Bites came straight from the off with Graham kicking the session off with a strap Conger https://www.flickr.com/gp/152834196@N06/5nR3g4 Then I followed suit with a strap of my own then we had the odd doggie and after that I was into a Huss which weighed in at bang on 8lb https://www.flickr.com/gp/152834196@N06/5z4s9V After that I managed another Huss a bit smaller. Graham got in on the Huss action aswell and that weighed in at 8lb 12 https://www.flickr.com/gp/152834196@N06/MMRS27 and then I got a Pollack at 1lb 12 https://www.flickr.com/gp/152834196@N06/2x3L8N I managed another strap but Shortly after that the ebbing tide picked up pace and slowed things right down. On the last cast Graham had another strap https://www.flickr.com/gp/152834196@N06/1L73qo A nice busy session out of the wind, I actually walked away with a war wound, I made a school boy error and took my eye off the ball for a second or 2, my Huss swung round and managed to get its teeth onto my thumb, luckily I got it away before it clamped down on me https://www.flickr.com/gp/152834196@N06/6t1uBo A thouroghly enjoyable session at one of my favourite Marks
