Hi all,
Decided to fish Caldy for Sunday afternoons high tide, arrived about 2 hours before high and set up on the boulders to the left as you come down the steps, there were a few others fishing at the bottom of the steps.

I fished one rod just over the rocky outcrop and the other at distance, both rods I used a two hook flapper baited with ragworm, with plain 4 oz leads.

First cast resulted in a Flounder, caught off the rocky outcrop

Then a Plaice on the distant rig

It was constant bites the whole session, but these little blighters were the main culprits

I did manage 4 more Flounders

Then as the tide turned the schoolies switched on

Ended up with 4 schoolies after the tide had turned, so all in all a great little session, tallying 5 Flounders, 4 schoolies 1 Plaice and lost count of Whiting, wish I had rigged a Whiting up thinking back!
Going to give Fleetwood a go for an early Codling all being weel later in the week.
Thanks
Mark
