From the Gynn to the Perch 8/10/2018

Postby andybass » Wed Oct 10, 2018 8:02 pm

Having missed the first match on the Sunday. I went over to the Wirral on the Monday. More in the hope of catching and decent Ray or a early season cod. Since they’ve been showing further up the coast line.
Having arrived I set up in my favourite spot which is directly inline with the buoy

From the off I have whiting I counted over 30 whiting. Fishing under match style rules.

I even managed a dab which I’ve not caught in over a year I think.

I had what I call a sleeper rod. Which is usually a heavier rod with a large bait on. In the hope of that early season cod or a Ray but all I got was large whiting and dogfish.

I also managed to catch a young sea gull which had flown into the line. Which to two to untangle he flow off absolutely fine to sulk

I also spent the day on the Gynn Wall never fished it before but managed a flattie for my efforts. Image

Tight lines

Excellent session. I caught a flock of ducks on the canal one night, now that was a tangle.
