North Shore 6th

Postby davie495 » Fri Sep 07, 2018 9:02 am

Windy conditions met myself and Dave Rob for what was planned to be a mackerel session on the light gear. No chance.... strong north westerly winds put that to bed and with the absence of any worm we didn’t have the chance to try an alternative venue for the almost legal bass.

Changed position on north shore from where we had targeted gars and Mack earlier in the year to see if we could get any rays at range.

It was double shots of whiting from the off. Some proper pin whiting on the pop up rods we put out regardless of the conditions

As we started to lose the light the size of the whiting increased who were taking big ray baits and then we were into the dogfish.

No rays, windy, rained for the last 10 mins and weed was a nightmare.

Good fun though
