Huss & Hounds @ Llandudno

Postby seaangler » Mon Aug 06, 2018 3:24 pm

I decided on a Sea Fishing & camping trip up to Llandudno for the weekend with my Brother Richie and Sean (a WirralSeaFishing member)....

We got to Lladudno Pier first doors for when it opened on the Saturday so we could have the first choice of where to fish...

Pretty much straight away it was Dogfish city for all of us....& the odd small Huss

After all the Dog action Danny & his Dad turned up after a few hours of our arrival to instantly start hitting into the Hounds....

Then it was our Ritchies turn with a Starry...
Image

Not long after Gareth hit 2 in a row.....

After the Hounds Ritchie was definitely into a decent fish....

After a bit of a scramle to get it into the the net and up....he had caught his first ever shore Huss....RESULT!!
Image

Once the fishing died off and we were just catching Large edible shore crabs and decided to head for the campsite and reminisce over the days successful trip...

Myself and Sean were the only one not to Catch any smoothies just Doggies and a Launce, but i did drop a Starry when we went back on the Sunday....proper gutted but we go again for one soon....

aryt mate we stayed over at Dinarth Hall Farm campsite in Llandudno, literally 5mins away from the Pier. its £8 per night for an adult and £3.50 for children. there is wifi, shower block, toilets, laundry room. you dont need to book for tents as there is literally acres of room. pay at the office by the entrance on arrival

Cracking report of what appears to have been an equalling great weekend. Did the crab get a hot bath over the camp fire?
