Bass Bashing

Postby seaangler » Sat Jul 07, 2018 9:28 pm

I met up with new site member Sean for a Bass bashing session down at the Leasowe Lighthouse Channel, which turned out to be very fruitful.....

arrived at the venue for 2:30pm so we could give ourselves plenty of time to setbup and spec the venue out before the channel started to flood. we decide to fish to the left of the double slipway....

once the tide started to flood there was a little bit of Crab action for about 30mins. but after that it was game on for the next hour or so.........

First in was Sean with an almighty pull down.....

a double header of bass....

next in with a couple of solitary Bass was my good self.......

again Sean hit in with another double header......

and then a single decent bass......

We both had another few bass each. About an hour before high water the bloody Crabs kicked of big time, so we packed up.....

well worth the trip out for a few hours of Sport........and and thanks to Sean for the Master Class in Double headers lol

until next time... tight lines.
If people concentrated on the REALLY important things in life....... There would be a shortage of fishing rods and reels
