Fish Dock

Postby morrow » Sun Jun 24, 2018 2:24 pm

Couple of hours out with the kids, tried fish dock as you can usually pick up a good Huss or Hound and fish from the car. It's a good mark for kids as there's plenty of good wrasse and pollock usually to keep you busy. Sadly no huss or hounds but we only fished for 3 hours.

Had lobster and a few wrasse and pollock, lost a few wrasse in the weeds I can only assume they swim under the ledge when they hit your bait. This is also a good mark for conger (straps mostly) but again landing them can be a pain with the weed.

As someone said on a different thread, great to see you giving them a proper childhood Jay instead of seeing kids on xboxes

was about to post a thread asking if you could fish from the fish dock guess this answers my question
The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope.

Not too sure but it could be Amlwch harbour on Anglesey.Someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

I'd love to session a harbour again. With this weather lugging gear kills me!

Been eyeing that place up for a couple of weeks now, looks like another brilliant Anglesey mark
