Perch rock 30/03/18.

I decided to have a Good friday sesh at perch rock just to get out off the house
and i was hoping for a decent sized plaice or maybe something out the ordinary
i arrived down there very handy and i got set up
not too long after i had my first cast jeff turned up just to my right :D
and a few other anglers also showed up.

It was not the best conditions today as it was a massive tide
and a gray over cast sky and the wind was picking up and turning to the east
and the dreaded weed had returned just to make things even harder after all that rain yesterday
the water was very colored and it looked as if things were going to be hard going today
from what i sure and herd it looked like i was the only one catching today
and there were blanks all around.

The first fish out for me were a dab and a rockling on the same rig.

That was followed by another dab.

The next dab was a cracker :D
i thought i had a small plaice but on closer inspection it turned out to be a large dab 1mm under 32cm
i could have done with that in the winter matches.

After that the fishing was extremely slow i did take another 3 dabs to finish the day off
but i have not seen perch rock fish that bad in a long while
still it was good to be out you never know unless you go and try :D
and lets all hope it picks up by may for the first round of the WSF summer matches. ;)
