Anglesey Grueller

Postby Godders123 » Sun Mar 25, 2018 7:18 pm

Gaz and I hadn’t been out for weeks and so we were both itching to wet a line.

We headed over to the north coast of Anglesey in the hope of a conger or two.

We arrived just as the sun began its descent over the horizon. The sky was almost crystal clear and barely a breath of wind. What a stunning evening to be out!

The tide was ebbing and pulling quite hard at first and so we both fishing just a single rod.

Image

We’d had a good session last time we were at this mark but would we get into the double figure eels that we knew we down there? Gaz meant business!

Image

As the darkness fell and the tide slackened off our hopes increased.

Image

Unfortunately the fishing was....pants!!

A couple of dogs for Gaz and a small strap for me.

Though sometimes it’s not about the fishing it’s simply about being out in stunning surroundings!
