Otterspool Prom

Postby GAZZ3R » Sun Jan 28, 2018 4:36 pm

I decided to go for a session at Otterspool yesterday, knowing that not a lot has come out recently I wasn't exacting a lot but just fancied getting out. Cutting a long story short I had one fish all session, a nice 3lb 1oz Codling on the first cast A picture of my motionless tips It was a wild session with that wind but at least it didn't rain and not a single item of gear lost

Nice shots, well balanced fish

Might move one rod to 60lb braid as it does pack a punch compared to 20lb mono when snagged

Nice coddo, not many about at all this year, especially after us all expecting a bumper cod season after the abundance of small to mid sized fish last year, ah well there's always next year
