Woodside. 20/12/17.

I headed down to woodside and i hoped to pick up a codling or two
i arrived on low water and cast in the fog was making its way down the river
and the liverpool view was about to disappear in a blanket off fog

That was very think fog that with a very large tanker passing me like a ghost ship totaly out of view
with only the fog horn and noise of the engines to be heard
back to the fishing it was very poor from the off with only a few very small codling bothering to show.

as the tide flow slowed down a salutary and very lonely pin whiting showed up

No other fish showed not even the crabs bothered too touch the baits no missed bites no taps just nothing
bait after bait came back totaly untouched, The tide was a bit big but there was no activity at all there really

I am back out on the cod the hunt after boxing day this time going back down too otterspool. :D
