Seaforth Beach 19/12/17

Postby stephen atkinson » Tue Dec 19, 2017 6:45 pm

I arrived at the car park at 2.30, got me gear ready, to do the walk, had 5 wraps of lug that I pumped sat, that was all the bait I had, me bait fridge had took the knock peeler, squid, sandeel all threw away 3 draws full, GUTTED. Anyways got to the slip and was met with a dropping sun, and not a breath of wind magic.Image Proceeded to the water line, bait in the drink by 3.15, first chuck, tip was bouncing, and managed me first codling of the season from a beach thank God, straight back out 2 mins later same again, second fish on the beach,Image, both about the 2.1/2lb range. A few lads where fishing to the left of me.Image. I don't think they beached anything, then an hour before low a slackliner and me biggest fish was on the beach at 2/10 I was a happy man.Image. Was a cracking few hours fishing in those conditions and catching fish, can't beat it.

Cracking result, lovely fish there. It was me to your far left Ste, didn't realise it was you or I'd have come over. I got bitted out with dabs but did get a new pb too,
