Rossall Point 11 Dec

Postby Willpower » Mon Dec 11, 2017 5:42 pm

Decided to have a bash at the point, although conditions were not good (flat calm and sun). Arrived 11am with l/w at 11.35ish. Tried most baits mac/worm/razor and combinations etc to no avail - all baits returned untouched and I blanked. However, Rowley managed to save his day with a sea scorpion about 1.5 hrs into the flood. Packed in at 3.30pm due to no feeling in our fingers and a monster blanket of weed.

Lovely little fish. It has been poor this year with just a few codling showing the odd night. Don't know why it has changed so much.
