Still a few Bass about

Postby wobbler72 » Sat Nov 04, 2017 11:32 am

I've been telling people for a while that there's still fish to be had throughout November and December down the Lleyn.

This morning I followed my own advice and went down to see what was about. I got there a little later than I'd intended, just after first light. First cast, a Schoolie of about 1.75lbs

Third cast, I'm in again with a slightly better fish of around 2.5lbs.

Both taken on a FBM in lemon with offshore head.

As the sun lit the bay properly I hoped that the slightly murky what would mean the fish would stay around, but it wasn't to be. Still not a bad morning, two beautifully conditioned fish and proof that there's still some sport to be had.

I even saw a Red Kite on the way back to Pwllheli. First I've seen on the peninsula. :)

Nice session Kev,

Funny you saying about the Kite, my wife said that she thought she saw one on the other side when we were up last week, maybe they are seeking out new areas?
