It's a beautiful location, I used to spin for Pollock off the left hand rocks close to high tide in the evenings.

That first 'strap' gave a good scrap, no carp. :D I tweaked a little muscle in my back pulling him in and I thought Kev was gonna have to carry me back to the car. :lol:

And its Maerig. You lot should have gone to specsavers :oops:

First one went 4lb4oz, we didn't weigh the second but it was smaller. Both took my cod bait - whole squid with a strip of frozen sardine and a frozen mussel on a pennel pulley rig. Only lost one set of tackle fortunately. I don't do rotten bottoms, I keep mine clean :lol: :lol: :lol: Fell asleep on the way home and woke myself up with a big snore. :bored: :D
Thought Kev would have complained to you all by now as I did it last trip back from the east coast also :oops: . Getting too long in the tooth for these late night expeditions but I can't resist 'em :dance: :dance:

You`ve had 2 x 4lb+ fish on your last two sessions,which can`t be bad. :dance:

you can get a lot nearer to that mark by driving from porthdafach towards south stack and take the first left and drive about a mile and bear left near the dirt track into a car park, thats near porth gof du to us locals or mackerel rock
