stopper beads
stopper beads
I have just started to make my own rigs and was wondering if anyone can explain how to use a stopper bead behind a sequin. I have a few different size beads but how do i stop them running free on the snoods.
Re: stopper beads
take a look at sandmans tackle time on youtube,im sure I seen a video of his doing this.

Re: stopper beads
You dont use a bead for that normally.
Its the sort of thing you use silicone tube pulled through itself for or you could use a float stop or a gripper stop.

That is the simple way but twisted silicone works fine or power gum as Shaun says or have even used telephone wire in the past.

Re: stopper beads
Feed the snood line through the wire loop (not too far- you'll see why);
slide the bead up the wire, til it's snug against the snood line; then, gently but firmly, keep pushing;
the wire loop will pull the snood line through the stop bead.
Adjust to suit.
