By car from Warrington area:
Travel from Warrington in the direction of Penketh/Widnes coming along Sankey Way – A57 (passing David Lloyd Leisure and Racquet Club on the left hand side). Continue to roundabout and bear left at roundabout along the A562 Penketh Road, which then turns into the A562 Warrington Road following signs towards Penketh & Widnes. Along the left hand side you will pass Wynsors, then The Red Lion pub and Somerfield. At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit towards Widnes. Approximately 200 yards along take your first left into Tannery lane, sign posted for ‘Fiddlers Ferry Yacht Haven’. Continue along Tannery Lane then turn right at the ‘Three Elms’ nursing home onto Station Road. Go to the end of Station Road and park in the car park on the left hand side before the railway crossing.
By car from Widnes area:
Travel towards Warrington along the Widnes Road – A562. Having passed the Fiddlers Ferry Power Station and Golf driving range turn right onto Tannery lane, sign posted for ‘Fiddlers Ferry Yacht Haven’. Continue along Tannery Lane then turn right at the ‘Three Elms’ nursing home onto Station Road. Go to the end of Station Road and park in the car park on the left hand side before the railway crossing.













Distance is not a problem here as i find the majority of the flounder seem to be close in what is roughly 4-5ft water you will always see lots of herons and other birds around flying past you with eels and small flounder
