Nice and easy to get to and once parked up in the car park there is a 2 minute walk to the fishing.

From spring/summer it produces some very good soles, flounder,Plaice and eels and i have been told reports of Bass but not had the proof, never fished it in winter but there`s no reason why you wont get whiting.

There`s a good deep channel which runs very close in if you head towards the right of the car park you will see this and there are rails near the lock to put your rod against, Also facing the small carp lake as you walk over the lock there is a grassy bank and when the tide is out you can walk down and hit the channel pretty easy. Tides of 27ft to 29.5ft are best. The further you go to the left means you`ll be fishing from grass/reeds.

Distance is not an issue as flattys can often be found under your feet the best baits to use are the usuall Rag/Lug/CrabMackrel on size 1/0 flapper i usually use 3 hook flappers.
