PARTRIDGE LAKES - RISLEY

WENT FOR A DAY OUT TODAY , GOT THERE AT 9 AM IT WAS F***ING FREEZING , STARTED ON THE MAGGOT FEEDER AND WAS INTO SKIMMERS AND SMALL CARP STRAIGHT AWAY ON RED MAGGOT , AFTER 2 HOURS TRIED THE POLE AT 9 METRES AND GOT LOTS OF SKIMMERS AND THE ODD BREAM ON WORM , , AT 2 PM IT WARMED UP A BIT SO DECIDED TO TRY PELLET SHALLOW , NOT USUALLY A GOOD IDEA AFTER A HEAVY FROST BUT I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRIZED TO CATCH CARP UP TO 5 LB & A FEW CHUB ONLY 12 INCH DEEP , VERY HAPPY , GOOD DAY OUT IF YOUVE NOT BEEN YOU SHOULD TRY IT , IT FISHES WELL IN WINTER ON ANY OF THE WATERS , CHECK OUT WWW.PARTRIDGELAKES.CO.UK FOR INFO , SWEET!!! ;)
