Went to local fishery for the day. Got a few wee bits n pieces and one nice Carp. No2 son who refuses to fish the sea has recently shown an interest in the course fishing. He came down for the afternooon so I set him up with the feeder rod and a maggot feeder. Fish fish he got into was this one

He lost another about the same size.

He was well chuffed

There are a few places in Central Scotland and down Dumfries area. That one is just so handy for me 10 mins down the road. Not huge fish in it. Carp to 12lb Tench to 6lb I think though never caught one :( .
