Looks like 15mph southerlies from Sat afternoon which are not ideal but the lure of a decent cod is tooooo much,so we`ll head a bit further north in an attempt to avoid the weed

Alright kev I will join you at seaforth mate, went out Thursday at Aindale to get worm, walked the whole beach, not a single cast, first time I've ever walked off a beach with no worm after pumping. Not sure weather to chance Ainsdale again or pump formby or go over the wirral and get some blow lug.

I popped down last night and it was hard work. Managed 60, but that was due to finding a patch of them as I was walking back. There were times I was walking 15mins without seeing a single cast.

It`s been strange lately....on my last two sessions i`ve found a patch well up on the beach,in between two run offs, other than that it`s been poor....only need enough for tomorrow though. There`s usually a bed by the big boulder at Formby Ste,in that shallow mud

Pretty dire at Ainsdale with 18 worms to show for 2 hours searching....nothing on the sand, just odd ones in the run off`s...it`ll do for tomorrow...1 lug n squid head on one rod,and full dirty squid on the other.... :D
