Adventurous Plan for Sat night/Sunday morning...20th

Postby Big Kev » Fri Jan 12, 2018 9:41 pm

Hoping to get fresh worm on Friday, and if the bait gods are on my side, and the early forecast is correct (  ) the plan is to fish from 11pm Sat (high water 1.30am) until 7am Sunday (low water 8am) from the end of Dalmorton Rd groyne in search of cod...given the nature of the beast i`d rather not fish there alone......anyone fancy joining me :?:

Decisions decisions...latest forecast gives the wind dropping right off from late Sat afternoon, then turning light S/E for a few hours....much better for getting worms on Sat (blowing strong on shore and raining on Friday) but then it`s lack of sleep before fishing, especially as i`m in work at 6.20am Sat  Could grab a couple of hours and do Easington as the sea is flat all week,or shoot up to Braystones as these westerlies should have brought the cod in,and maybe the quick change to easterlies wont push them out....could get up early and do Vale Park or Seaforth beach, but recent sessions don`t exactly fill me with confidence  Forecast will prob change completely tomorrow

Cracking atmos vid Kev, unfortunate that the Congere weren't feeding, as you know there are some good Conger there, I'll probably have a go there on the smaller tides.
