Seaforth Beach

Postby Cap'n Birdseye » Sat Dec 16, 2017 5:29 pm

Hi all. Is anybody thinking of fishing Seaforth Beach tomorrow- Sunday 17th?
I'm up for a few days from Bristol, visiting family. Fancied a change of scene from the Bristol Channel and keen to have a crack at one of my old haunts. Haven't fished there for decades.
Would be good to have a bit of company and get out there safely!

Hello mate.
I personally wouldn't fish tomorrow afternoons low, the wind is picking up towards 25mph westerly right in yer face, you probably wouldn't get it into the channel, I would fish vale park on the Wirral side wind behind you and a couple of nice codling came out the other day to fresh lug. There is a wsf match on at Town hall steps low tomorrow afternoon. so most of the lads will be fishing that. :D

Cheers for the replies guys. You're right about the wind and probably not reaching the channel-especially as it's not the biggest tide to fish. Was hoping for a better window in the weather....never mind, maybe next time! Unless the forecast changes, I'll probably save the bait for when I get back to Bristol.
Good luck for tomorrow Kev.

Cheers again
Tim

PS great website!
