MONDAY 22/11 HIGH WATER (WIRRAL)

I am aiming to fish high water tomorrow (11 am) so want to be casting about 09.00. Can't decide where to go. Anybody got any ideas or want to join me? After that I will then be doing a job or two and may fish the low at Perch or Vale Park.

Whereabouts Jack, I've never fished that far south. Is there a road for access so I can look it up?

If you are fishing high go to the tap pub on the eastham front. Park your car and walk down to the small concreat jetty oposite the pub and take a right walk down the path for 30/40 yards and fish next to one of the benches as there is more room for casting. 40 or 50 yrd cast big black big and squid baits will sort the codo out. I would fish a 1.5hrs up and 30-60 mins down also another thing that can be usefull is a drop net as i found out on sat. A lead lift can also be handy as the first 20 yards is snaggy.

I was very peed off


If you walk down the path i have mentioned past all the benches there is a clearing which is easier for casting but snaggy

you can fish brom any state of tide. Fish as far down left as you can from the groin. It would be worth chucking out a penle with a whole squid and then another rod for anything

yea go down as far left as you can the water seems to be deeper there

It empties out at low water leaving a muddy bank close in....if you go as far to the left as poss (stop when you reach the fence) there`ll be deeper water...imho i would`nt bother over low
