Round 2 Preview - Talacre - Sunday 27th May

Postby Adam Roper » Sat May 19, 2018 11:23 am

Round 2 sees us back at Talacre after the success of the matches we held there last year. Bonus species for this match is Smooth Hound and there should also be Whiting, Dabs, Flounder, Plaice and Thornback Rays on offer.

Booking on will be by the barrier in the beach car park from 12:30 to 13:00. All in will be at 14:00 however this venue requires a long walk to the mark so we will ensure plenty of time is available for everyone to get down to the water in their own time.

All in will be 14:00 fishing until 18:00. Low water is at 17:00.

No idea where I'm going having never fished in these foreign lands. Is there a postcode for somewhere nearby?

Rich just go along the coast road through the likes of Flint, Greenfield and Mostyn until you come to a roundabout from which Talacre is signposted then you just follow the road straight down and don’t stop until you reach the beach you will know when you get there! Stick Station Road Talacre in your satnav

Dave Roberts had a few Gars the other night Ste fishing 5ft flouro hook lengths with pop ups. They are there if you fish for them. Normal tactics throw up dogs and Whiting and think Dave had both the other night too.
