Hello Mate, plenty of clubs in liverpool , I'm in the Sefton Sac, based out of Dunnys club , Stalmine road , Walton. Most of our events are on the Mersey with the odd one further afield. We also have a charter section ands small boat section , go on our website and you will see more. Other clubs in the area are the phoenix sac, buccaneers sac,and the Mersey pirates

Wirral is where the website was born, but as we all have passports we are allowed to venture further afield. Car sharing is still an option via the site,as there`s plenty on the proper side of the river who like to fish Wales during the summer.......Wales is hardly a foreign land,as a lot of us have fished there for many years......if you`re happy to fish the Mersey all year round then that`s fine and dandy....personally i`d rather chop my knackers off with a rusty breadknife

Onelastcast, public transport will mess up even your club fishing on the Mersey, due to the timing of matches around tides ie late or early matches . My best piece of fishing tackle is my van. Learn to drive and get a motor and the world is your oyster
