Round 1 Preview - Vale Park - Sunday 15th October

Postby Adam Roper » Sun Oct 08, 2017 8:33 am

Here we go then...... This years WSF Winter League gets underway at the normally prolific Vale Park on Sunday 15th October.

Rays and Dogs along with Whiting and maybe an early Codling should make up the round fish on people's cards with Dabs, Flounder and maybe a late Plaice on offer for the flat fish on the card.

Booking on will be at the shelter at the bottom of Magazine Lane from 11:00 until 11:30. All in will be at 12:00 fishing until 16:00. Low water is at 15:00.

Bait orders in the usual thread please and also if anyone has any old newspapers they can donate then please bring them with you on the day

If people concentrated on the REALLY important things in life....... There would be a shortage of fishing rods and reels

Not fished here for a good few years, are waders going to be needed or is the gulley not so substantial now?

A pair of thigh waders will be a big help getting over the last of the run off.
