Round 2 Preview - Otterspool Jericho Lane - Sunday 29th October

Postby Adam Roper » Mon Oct 16, 2017 3:40 pm

Round 2 sees us on the Liverpool side of the river on the Jericho Lane stretch at Otterspool. This venue can be prolific in terms of Whiting and Codling however the flat fish can be illusive at times and it will be a challenge to find one in this match.

As this match is a high water match this is a pegged match. The zone will be along the stretch between the black anchor and the old jetty. See picture below............

Booking on will be in the Jericho Lane car park from 13:00 until 13:30. We will be fishing from 14:00 until18:00. High Water is at 18:05

Bait orders in the usual thread please

Has to be my favourite venue for cod, may be at little early!! This is a venue worth knowing. Big tackle and loads of snags. Big rods and heavy weights, however we are fishing it on a pussy tide!!!

Unfortunately missing this one also as in York visiting youngest daughter in uni. Hope to fish remaining six.
Shame as I have not fished this mark. Always useful to have a standby.

No need for big rods big baits or big tackle. 2 hook flappers on conti gear and light leads do the trick for me
2013

Flounder, Dab, Cod, Whiting, Dogfish, Octopus, Thornback Ray, Bass, Smoothie
