A series of total length matches ran by Adam Roper open to all site members where you can widen your species and venue knowledge as well as learning lots too.

Final Standings and Overall Results

This years Summer League was really well attended throughout which made for some competitive matches including some fantastic fishing with some great specimen fish being taken.

After the final round at Kinglake Road we all piled into the Eggy Ferry pub for the now customary Sunday roast followed by the presentation for this years overall standing as well as the winner of the specimen fish pool.....................

In third place this year with seven results to count of three 2nds, two 3rds, one 4th and one 7th for 1664cm and 61 Points was Roy Schofield...................

Runner up this year with seven results to count of three 1sts, one 2nd, two 3rds and one 5th for 2237cm and 66 Points was myself....................

Which meant that this years WSF Summer League Overall Winner with seven scores to count of two 1sts, three 2nds, one 3rd and one 5th was Dave Radcliffe...........................

Finally, the winner of the WSF Summer League Best Specimen Fish Trophy was Dylan Kensall with his fantastic Smooth Hound of 105cm for 77 Points...............

Thank you to everyone who has fished the WSF Summer League and made it what it is. Well done to all the winners and in particular Dave Radcliffe who has been Mr Consistent throughout the summer and takes the very well deserved and hard earned title.

We now look forward to the start of the Winter League in three weeks time on October 15th at Vale Park.

Also well done to Adam, another great summer league, your time and effort put in, to make it all happen, is greatly appreciated. :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
Highlights, for me, besides Dyls tail walking smoothie, were Adams fantastic Bull Huss and Sole, superb specimen fish from the Mersey waters, along with the Talacre fish fest in early June !!!

A big thanks to you Adam for a well run league and the time and effort you put into it.

Well done Dave on taking the win went down to the wire. Hope the winter league is going to be as great as last year's and the coddos are here in the numbers as they where last year, will make an exciting league. See yous at the first match.

If people concentrated on the REALLY important things in life....... There would be a shortage of fishing rods and reels
