Is it worth considering sacking the Seaforth match and changing venue....the £7 entry fee plus juice and bait and now a £3.80 parking fee might be a bit costly for some . I know you can park fairly close by on the roadside, which is fine for pleasure sessions, but a lot of cars for a match will rub the locals up big time .

Why are rays classed as round fish, not flats?

Hi Folks, I've read ear lier in this thread about fishing 1.5 hours after low Water.
I have read, I think on this forum, info about Vale saying somthting like-1 hour, and get from there, but I can't find it any where.
Will we be wading at the end of the match on Sunday? If it's going to be a dash up the beach, might try THS...

You will be fine Andy there will be no mad dash off the beach plus we are only fishing an hour after low I have updated the times to 13:30 - 17:30 on the fixture list to put everyone's minds at ease

I think the THS low water matches are gunna be a struggle....not a lot of beach will be showing early on and it`s pretty much snag city....combat fishing/crossed lines/losing gear ....i`m afraid you wont see me there

Given the numbers in attendance and the concerns raised about the size of the beach I am going to change the Round 4 match to the afternoon high and fish the Seacombe Ferry end of the Prom up to High water from 16:30 - 20:30. Fixtures section has been updated

Yes, as with the last match that was planned for THS at low I have had to change it due to numbers fishing the matches and the space on the bank not being sufficient and as we want to have our now traditional end of league meal at the Eggy Ferry afterwards the best option was to bring it forward a week and fish the morning high the week before
