PostPosted: Sun Jul 11, 2010 11:35 am    Post subject: New to the Wirral, any advice on marks, bait and techniques?

Hello everyone! I've lived in the area for just over a year now and unfortunately due to having a high maintenance wife  and little girl i haven't had anytime to fish....... until now!! so I've decided to get back to doing a spot of sea fishing and unleash the rods!!

Anyway.. I'd really appreciate any local info that would help me get back into it and hopefully prevent me from blanking on every single outing?

Any help would be grately appreciated.

Cheers
Ian

Hi mate, welcome to the site 8)

If you look under the venues section you will find many venues one the wirral that have a write up, including baits, species, piccies etc
likewise pop into Moreton angling centre, chris is relavitly friendly (he only bites in the morning) hes quite clued up on what marks are on form and can recommend baits, rigs and how to fish them 8)

If you have anymore questions feel free to ask

Surrounded by water on three sides, there is plenty to choose from :) :) There are matches held on the wirral every month. ( See the NWASAC section) you may think that you are not be into the scene, but it is really a great way of finding out the local marks. Good bunch of lads and ladies too.
