Bought some HTO lure braid and put it on my penn fierce 4000 reel


Used it on for the first time on Saturday and kept getting knots when casting? Have I loaded to much line onto the spool?
(You can see the knots still on the spool)

Spool is over filled you want a few mils below the lip. Although the problem is no doubt exasperated by the fact it's terrible braid.

Should have got the £5 Chinese Power Pro braid off ebay.300yds for a £5.Still using same spool after 2 years. :thumbsup:

Me to great braid my cupboard is full of it :thumbsup: iv used 30 pound spectre on the Mersey and
Had the same braid on now 3 years not even lost it's colour just rinse it down after every outing
